Introduction

This is not a true story, but it relates to the legends who have worked hard in changing this world and making it a better place, those who have tried to solve the problems of this world. This story is written to inspire and motivate all those who believe in their dreams and want to overcome their burning desires, those who have dropped out of school thinking their journey has come to an end, and all those who want to become Leaders and Intelligent followers in the near future. It’s not an easy path, some have tried and failed, some quitted along the way and some failed ten thousand times, but still made it in the end. “Most leaders first became followers, but it takes an intelligent follower to become a leader.” This Long-Short story encourages one to know him or herself first, listen to their inner voices more than the noise around them, and by that – they might be able to find their purpose and unlock their passion. Most inventers and legends were regarded as fools and failures, through all that they managed to put their names on the map.

It’s true when they say most people that we look up to have once faced obstacles before making it to the top. Those who have the WHY behind their dreams always succeed, doing something out of love and serving people is the best definition of success. This world is made up by leaders and intelligent followers, true leaders who inspire us, those who drive us up until we make our dreams a reality. Everyone is a Genius, and everyone was born a Leader, it’s up to you to decide what kind of life do you want to live, and what it is that you want the universe to provide. “If you think you will become poor – you will be, and if you think of success you will be successful.” Most of the time we attract what is going through our lives, subconscious mind is the very sensitive part – it magnetizes all our thoughts and put them into physical actions. The best way to win in life is to control your mind, feeding it with inspiration and motivation. It is not me but the poet who said: “Life battles don’t always go to the Stronger or Faster man, but soon or late the man who wins Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!” (Hill, 2015). Have that burning desire, fight for your dream and goals, and never allow negativity to kill your desire. Search for your purpose and unlock your dreams, turn it into a BURNING DESIRE.

Twenty years ago in Africa, a boy called Henry was born. His parents wanted to have a baby girl, they weren’t happy when a baby boy made it into their lives. They wanted him to be adopted, but I’m glad to say that no one wanted to take him, and if they really did give up on him, they would’ve regretted themselves. Henry was born a leader, he was brought in this world for a reason. He grew up in a poor environment like every other kid in his area, their parents loved him so much that they didn’t want him to live the type of life they were living, they didn’t want their son to suffer like they did. They wanted to give him away because they felt that he was too innocent to live and suffer with them for their own consequences and wrong doings. Since his parents were working hard to provide for him, the best way was to send him to school. They wished him all the best. He was only 7 years old when he began having a dream of becoming a Pilot, he had no idea how a pilot looks like, but he wanted to become one. One thing for sure that he knew at his age about pilots was that they control the airplane.

He used to make airplanes with cardboards and wires. His parents thought he was only making it just for fun, they never knew that inside him there was a passion. He would fly his airplane the whole day while his friends were busy driving their brick cars. He wasn’t that good when it came to schoolwork, but his parents wanted him to study hard and obtain good grades. He went to school because their parents wanted him to, otherwise as years went by, he started hating school. During class lessons, he would always draw his Airplanes. “He was lucky because he found what he loved and passionate about at an early age.” He was the flunky of the class, a boy who worked hard to obtain good grades. Although he wasn’t that good in reading and writing, but he was innovative and creative. School did try to kill his creative side of brain, the demotivation he got from his teachers led him into wanting to drop out.
